A copper-binding tripeptide, supplied in a 100mg vial rather than the usual 10mg. Here is what that changes.
GHK-Cu is the copper peptide we stock, and it differs from most of our catalogue in a few
practical ways worth knowing before you order.
What it is
A copper-binding tripeptide: three amino acids (glycine, histidine and
lysine) complexed with a copper ion. The tripeptide occurs naturally in human plasma, where
it was first identified. It has been investigated in skin, collagen and ageing research.
The characteristic blue colour comes from the copper, not the peptide.

As other peptides
The 100mg vial is the main practical difference. Most compounds we stock are
10mg, so the reconstitution maths works out differently. A 100mg vial in 2ml of
bacteriostatic water is 50mg per ml, ten times the concentration of a 10mg vial in the same
volume. Run it through the calculator rather than
reusing figures from a 10mg vial.
Handling
Reconstitutes with bacteriostatic water like other lyophilised peptides.
Keep it out of light. Worth particular attention with copper complexes.
Refrigerate once reconstituted. Do not freeze in solution.
Common questions
What is GHK-Cu?
A copper-binding tripeptide, three amino acids (glycine, histidine, lysine) complexed with copper. It occurs naturally in human plasma and has been studied in skin and collagen research.
Why is it blue?
The copper. GHK on its own is a colourless tripeptide; the characteristic blue comes from the copper ion it is complexed with.
How is it supplied?
As a 100mg lyophilised vial, $100. Note the larger vial size compared with most peptides we stock, which are 10mg.
Does it need different handling?
It reconstitutes and stores like other lyophilised peptides. Light protection is worth particular attention with copper complexes.
